Though I won’t be at this library much longer, I hope to return someday. It is beautiful up in Huntsville, and not without its fair share of excitement. Check out this video of Sarah spraying the wasps nest. Not pictured: Lilly the dog who comes in through the automatic doors and plops herself down in the middle of our work space.

Just when you thought you’d seen it all…
This is BEFORE I crossed the river via fallen tree…

And this is During. I don’t have an AFTER. I looked too haggard

And I just need to brag here for a minute… we have snow on our mountains in September! Yes! It’s a happy site to see. I love the mountains.

I have a garden! Wahoo! Planting a garden was the first thing Dave and I did when we moved into our new abode. Since winter is real here (unlike most of California), we had to plant things that are cold-happy as I call it. Broccoli, turnips, carrots, spinach, cabbage and radishes. Now, I don’t really like the taste of radishes… Ive never found a recipe that makes them tolerable… but check these babies out! While the rest of my garden is full of puny things trying to grow (and taking their sweet time) these radishes grew about as fast as you can bake a turkey! From now on I’m including radishes in all my gardens… they bring instant satisfaction while you wait for the “good” stuff
